| Elephant Camp Come to Siam Safari elephant camp and
meet the elephants. Meet our elephant family - young elephant calf with its mother!

out about our elephant conservation project. Trek on elephant back for thirty minutes on a cool

to pick coconuts, a traditional part of Thai life. Find out where coconut milk comes from.

Explore Phuket - 1 Day |

A delicious selection of Thai dishes. A wide-variety suitable to all
tastes. After lunch, travel to the South of the Island for an afternoon of
action-packed activities. Canoe along a mangrove-lined river and out to sea. The mangroves
are a breeding ground for shell fish, crabs and many aquatic species. It is also
home to birds such as Egret, Heron, Kingfisher, and if you are very lucky, Fish Eagle!
We use safe and stable inflatable canoes, easy to control. No canoe
experience is necessary. Life-jackets are provided and our support boat will be
nearby at all times.
Travel by 4x4 to Chalong Highlands, with excellent views over Phuket
Island. Stop at a local house, see how the people live. Watch a demonstration
of Thai cooking, learn how to make jungle curry. See how rubber trees
are tapped to make natural latex. Travel by Landrover to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project at Bang Pae Waterfall - see the Gibbons who have come from captivity and will be reintroduced to the wild.

Itinerary DAY 1: (L,D)
After your elephant adventure, we will take you to a local Thai restaurant for a selection of delicious Thai foods. In the afternoon, we take a short trek through Khao Sok National Park for a closer look at what nature it has to offer. We return to a jungle lodge with time to relax before dinner. Dinner and overnight in jungle lodge in Khao Sok, with the sounds of the jungle lulling you to sleep. DAY 2: (B,L,D)
After canoeing, return to the jungle lodge for lunch, in the pleasant surroundings of a Thai-style restaurant. After lunch we take the road north to Ranong. En route we stop to see a waterfall in the jungle and pass mangrove forests along the coast. Ranong is a town famous for its Natural Hot water Springs and Spas, which we will visit in the afternoon. The night market in Ranong has a strong Burmese influence.
DAY 3: (B,L) Burma is just a short river crossing to the trading town of Ko Song the. We board a local boat for the half hour river crossing to Ko Song. As a frontier trading centre, Ko Song is the ideal place to barter for local goods and view the bizarre range of produce on offer, including semi precious stones, laquerware and wood carvings. Ko Song is also renowned for its hilltop temple. From the brightly coloured mural and serene statutes you have a birds eye view across the town and river, back to Thailand. For those not wishing to cross to Ko Song, take the morning to explore the local market in Ranong, and absorb the mix of Thai, Burmese and Islamic cultures in this fishing port town. After lunch, we drive back down the coast to Phuket. Drop off at Phuket International Airport and hotels on Phuket Island. If you wish to be transferred to Koh Samui or Krabi, please ask for details.
