The average temperature ranges form 69° F in December to over 100 F° in April. Between July and October take along suitable clothing for wet weather.

Visas
Visas are required for all nationalities. lf visas are to be obtained via MARWIN TOURS,the following personal data must be supplied to us at least Two (2) weeks before travel to Indochina countries :

• Sex
• Date and place of birth
• Present nationality
• Present occupation
• Registered address
• Passport number & date/place of issue & expiration

Clients have to contact us upon Bangkok arrival with original passport and photos to have visa stamped at embassy in Bangkok.
- Vietnam: 3 photos & 2 full working days (18-26 US$/P.P.)

• Laos : 3 photos & 2 full working days (18-26 US$/P.P.)
• Cambodia: Visa is deliverd on arrival Phnom Penh airport with no extra charge.

Visas can only be requested via MARWIN TOURS (Thailand) in connection with the booking of travel arrangements to Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam.

Health
No actual vaccinations are presently required. Malaria prophylactics for travel to rural areas are recommended.

Currency
The following exchange rates are for informatiom only
and subject to change without notice.
Cambodia:  1 US$  =    2000  Riel.
Laos:          1 US$  =     700  Kip.
Vietnam:     1 US$  =  10500  Dong.
Import/export of Vietnamese Dong is forbidden.Credit cards are not widely accepted. Traveller's cheques and currencies other then US Dollars,bills in  small denominations.

Customs Declarations
Clients who buy silverware and/or antique items in Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam are recommended to customs the value of items brought with them, to make it easier to bring out these items. Export of silverware and copperware bought in Laos are subject to tax duty by weight. Local guides will  inform clients about any necessary procedure upon
departure.

Useful tips
We advise all visitors to carry with them extra passport sized photos, as they are quite useful for varios reason. Take plenty of film with you. Although it is possible, but not always easy, to acquire fresh new unexposed film in Indochina. Do not photographs the airport in Indochina countries and other restricted areas.

Confirmation
The confirmation of tour arrangemants in Laos & Vietnam is subject to insure of a Visa at Laotian
or Vietnamese Embassy in bongkok or in passenger's home/country. The confirmation of tour arrangements in Cambodia is subject to visa approval by the  Cambodian authorities.
