Day 1 Bangkok - Chiang Rai

Transfer from your Bangkok hotel to bus terminal. Evening departing Bangkok for Chiang Rai by air-conditioned coach. Overnight on coach.(If by air should be on day 2 )

Day 2 Chiang Rai - Chiang Saen - Golden Triangle (L-D)

Up on arrival at Chiang Rai, welcome and transfer to your hotel. Lunch followed by afternoon visit th Chiang Saen, the ancient capital of Lanna Kingdom. Then continue to the Golden Triangle, where the border of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet before returning to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 3 Elephant Safari (B-L-D)

American breakfast. Morning travel by boat on Mae Kok River about an hour from Chiang Rai to Karen Ruam Mitr Village. Then starting elephant safari; and 8 kms. trek by elephant.

We begin our trek at Karen village on the Mae Kok River, cross the rice paddies and climb a ridge, we decend to Yao hilltribe village where our vechicle picks you up and takes you to have lunch at the Reforestation office and then to visit a waterfall.

Afternoon, return to hotel, rest of day free.

Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 4 Phrathat Doi Tung - Hilltribe Village - Mae Sai - Bangkok (B-L)
American breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to Phrathat Doi Tung. Akha village, and Lahu village. Lunch at a local reataurant in Mae Sai. Afternoon visit to the border between Thailand and Myanmar, then return to Chiang Rai. Transfer to airport for flight TG 133 or air condition coach at 19:30 hrs.
*no transfer service upon arrival in Bangkok.
