 DAY 1 BANGKOK -
CHIANG MAI
Evening departing Bangkok for Chiang Mai by
air-conditioned coach/train.
(If by air should be on day 2)
DAY 2 CHIANG MAI - BOI SUTHEP (L)
Morning arrival at Chiang Mai, transfer to
your hotel. Tour to the Thai Handicraft Village of "Sankhampang" to see
factories for umbrella and primitive paper - making. Also Teakwood carving, Siverware and
Lacquerware.
Lunch followed by an afternoon tour to
visit historic Doi Suthep Temple (3,500 feet above sea level) with its gardens baluster
and the Holy Pagoda containing a Relic of the Lord Buddha.
 DAY 3 CHIANG MAI -
CHIANG DAO - MAE KOK - CHIANG RAI (B-L-D)
American breakfast. Early morning departing Chiang Mai for Thaton by minibus a stop will
be made at Chiang Dao to see Elephants at work in the jungles. Lunch at Thaton, Travel on
the Mae Kok river from Thaton to Chiang Rai by boat. Evening arrival at Chiang Rai.
Transfer to your hotel by Samlor. Dinner.
 DAY 4 CHIANG RAI -
CHIANGSAEN GOLDEN TRIANGLE - MAE SAI - AKHA TRIBE - CHIANG MAI (B-L)
American breakfast. Depart by minitruck to
Doi Mae Salong Mountain to visit the Akha & White Karen Hilltribes villages.
Visit Chiangsaen (the ancient capital of Lanna Kingdom)
Visit, "The Golden Triangle", where the border lines of Thailand, Myanmar and
Laos meet, before lunch. Continue to the Northernmost town of Mae Sai. Depart Chiang Rai
for Chiang Mai by bus or minubus, viewing the beautiful scenery along the way. Short visit
at Hot Spring enroute.
DAY 5 CHIANG MAI - HOME INDUSTRIES -
BANGKOK (B-L)
American breakfast. Free-day to enjoy
relaxing or shopping.
Return to Bangkok.
