3-DAY OF ADVENTUROUS TREK -MAE TAENG

Day 1
Begins with a 3-hour drive along a picturesque route through plains, peaks and plunging valleys to Mae Taeng village. Upon arrival, a short trek is made over northern hills to a Lisu village. The evening is spent discreetly witnessing local lifestyle and customs.
Dinner and overnight with a Lisu family.

Day 2
A 3-hour trek through dense forest leads to a Skaw Karen village where lunch is served.
Next is a memorable 2-hour trip on a Jumbo... (without jet engine) to a White Karen riverside village. Dinner and overnight in a Karen home.

Day 3
Morning begins with fascinating 3-hour raft trip down the twisting, rushing Mae Taeng River.
Excitement ends with lunch at a river lodge. Then, free time to laze around before 2-hour drive back to Chiang Mai.
